iPhone SDK Event on March 6

Apple have just launched iPhone firmware 1.1.4 yesterday and now News.com reports that Apple is planning the lunch of the awaited iPhone SDK event on March 6.

Apple is invitation cards for the "iPhone software road map" event witch is scheduled for Thursday, March 6, at 10 a.m. PST at its headquarters in Cupertino.

It seem like Apple might go the Nokia way and only allowing applications with a digital signature to be installed, so they can track back a developer. I my opinion it is a good idea so they can protect us from malicious programs.

Apple also announced that we can expect details on "some exciting new enterprise features”, which sound as a method to getting the iPhone to work more closely with corporate e-mail software.

Now we just have to wait and see the official Third-party iPhone applications that will be released and we can only have high expectations after we already have seen brilliant applications from the iPhone hacking community.
